Whether you are a pro or a hobbyist on the 75 km of well-marked trails and ski hiking paths, there is something for everyone. Some trails can still be used in April, e.g. the Höhenloipe [high trail]. The Elite Trails are even supplied with man-made snow, when necessary.
Cross-country is deemed especially worthwhile in the area of winter sports, since it works all muscle groups and trains endurance. The healthy climate in the Fichtelberg region does what it always does and creates the perfect preconditions for a relaxing holiday.
Would you rather just relax and enjoy nature on the cross-country trails and still do something for your physical fitness? No problem on our ski hiking trails. Just look through our tour suggestions and decide for yourself what route you want to take.
